I would give Intelius minus stars if I could.I looked up a couple of people and I found the information I was looking for. I was a pretty satisfied customer until I found charges on my bank card that I did not authorize.Intelius refuses to return my money.DO NOT DO ANY BUSINESS WITH THEM IF YOU VALUE YOUR MONEY!

False advertising used to be against the law, but it is apparently not enforced. Intelius and White pages are but two of many sites that entice people and bait and switch. Honor and integrity are now considered mental deformities by too many people.

They advertized that a name was available for a cell phone number from which my daughter received threatening calls. 72 hours passed before they informed that they couldn't provide a name, and time was of the essence. Terrible service. Misleading. Fraudulent.

DON'T PAY FOR A PEOPLE SEARCH! Aot of sites do give a free search but they want you to pay for results, when you don't know if it's the right person. Use all the FREE searches from the search engines (but don't pay) eventially you can narrow your search down. I did it and located someone I haven't seen in years and she even had a couple name changes from getting married. I even found her address. You could even use google, it works great. It will let you know if their in any other networks especially in advanced search.DON'T PAY!!!

I have been using intelius for several years. I negotiated a price for a large number of seaches. I have used and tried dozens of search programs. One company that gets high ratings is Net Detective and it does not compare at all with intelius. I find 3 to 4 times the searches on intelius as on Net Detective. David

Intelius People Search is a rip-off at best and then couldn't cancel membership.Ctrdit card bill showed their cost each month and finally had it cancelled by american express.

I did not find the search from Intelius very helpful at all. It did verify all the info I had already dug up on my own but did not provide any new information. Net detective, however, did.

Before using this service, you may want to use a search engine and look for the term "Inelius scam." A great deal of negative information on this firm you may want ot review first. THEIR RECORDS ARE ABOUT 15 YRS BEHIND. FOUND WHAT I NEEDED ON ANOTHER SITE THAT INTELIUS DIDN'T HAVE. I PAID FOR INFO THAT WAS INCORRECT ON INTELIUS. WHAT A SCAM. CAN WE CUT THAT STAR IN HALF?

I'd give them a zero if I had the choice. I only searched for one name and then found a $20 charge on my credit card - that I did not authorize for some bogus ID monitoring. Stay away from this site.

I hate the i have to give them a whole star! What a sham! None of the information was correct. They told me that I would be charged $6.90 for the report and then charged me a $19.95 membership fee, which essentially made that crap and useless report a $27 crap and useless report. They refused to refund my "membership fee" when I cancelled. DO NOT EVER DO BUSNESS with this company. The customer service was horrible and their product is crap.

I just found out that there is a sex offender that has just moved into our area. You should be ashamed of your web site. We the parents who want to protect our children and our elderly from people like that. Your advertising is false. You say your site is free but it's not which makes you a lier. Never would I even recomend your web site to anyone or for anything.

DO NOT TRUST THIS SITE!Was charged $19.95 although I submitted request for a .95 search. Then when I tried to retrieve the results got a "no record in past 43 days".

don't use intelius. the info i received was out dated and inaccurate. i paid for a one time email lookup but i checked it again later that day and there was more information but i couldn't access it unless i paid again even though it was for the same person!

THIS SITE IS FRAUDULENT IT WAS CHARGING MY CC 2 TIMES EA MONTH FOR A ONE TIME USAGE THEN I GOT CHARGED FOR IDENTITY PROTECT THEY ARE SCANDALOUS AND THEY ARE SO UNRELIABLE. i wanted to run a crimminal and employment check on myself, so when i went on, i saw my name and mothers name listed as a relitive which made me believe that had info on me. so i paid the 77.00 dollars. found nothing, and i know i have a few criminal charges from about 5 years ago. and nothing came up which should be impossibe, no employment records, no criminal records, nothing. as if i didnt exist. i called customer service and was told they'd give me a FREE search! to which i answered if im not there why do i need a free search? and they just kept talking as if reading off a script how they;d give me a free search and what a valuable tool it is. "not for me if you don;t have any info on me"! i wanted a refund and then they just kept repeating they're NO REFUND POLICY! finally after speaking to 3 different supervisors telling them that it is false advertising if you have my name there to make it look "as if" you have my records, and then don't. so after close to an hour of this they finally agreed to refund my money in 10 days. why 10 days when it had only been 10 min.(when i first asked for the refund the first time. anyway, we will see if i get my money back. but i suggest not using thid fraudulent site. ill keep you all posted.

I found this site to be expensive for information I received, and the information was very minimal. In addition you must read the detais because I found I had unknowingly signed up for a $19.95 monthly service that I did not request or want.

BEWARE! BEWARE! BEWARE! Although Intelius is a reasonable search engine for $1.95, Intelius very deceitfully, in small print will enroll you in their ID Protection Program for $19.95 a month. If you do not scutinize your charge card statement they will continue to charge you $19.95 a month. This identical thing happened to a Wells Fargo Bank employee who works in the charge card department and she has received numerous complaints about Intelius unauthorized billings to customer charge cards. So do not use Intelius but if you must then be sure to check your charge card statement monthly.

They provided me with obsolete information and don't show the option to cancel my profile. They also hiddenly enrolled me in SavingAce, which I had to call to cancel to avoid being ripped off with an automatic perennial membership. They passed my personal and credit card information to SavingAce without my knowledge. I have been scammed. Stay clear of them.

If you are searching for someone and you plan on using a site like one of these you better think about who you are searching for and why you what to find them and why they have not kept in touch with you. Why i say this most of who we search for does not what to be found and if they don't want to be found you will not find them without a PI. All of these sites run off of the data we leave behind like when we fill out a profile online for dating or for an e-mail account if we are truthful when we do this they will have good information on us and up to date if we use a fake name or address then someone out there is going to get wrong information so all in all if who we search for are honest online then you will be able to find them. The sites can on pick up what is out there on us what we have left them to find nothing more. So remember next time you get the wrong address it is cause someone left or used the wrong address for you to find not the sites.

nothing i found i couldn't get from a dogpile.com search. i had to call cust.service and the young lady was very nice and helpful, however she pointed out that she was giving something as a curitousy, funny, i had thought i had paid for that very info, and again nothing i didn't find on the white pages and facebook and a little more detective work. i did find a small claims, but that too is of public record. i dont think ill be back.

They advertise free, free, free, thats just to get your info. They have me listed in places I have never even been. I know where I am, They don't, and they want me to pay, I don't think so. If I could afford to pay someone, I would, but not these false advertisers.

When using CR.CRDS. You can contact your CR.CRD.C0. and dispute the charge/charges. The charge will be taken off your acct.. Advise your CR.CRD.CO. with all the info of what happened. Thay have plenty of \\\"disputes\\\" that will back up your complaint. AMEX is by for the best card to use for disputes.
